Yarmouth & Thorley Voices and D-Day 80 memorial books: These books are available from local bookshops, which capture in print, photographs, video and sound the reminiscences of residents of Yarmouth and Thorley about the history and events which have shaped their communities.

Yarmouth Celebration of Sea Songs and Shanties:
This event, which started in 2018, took place again 24th-27th May 2024 on the Green

Carols in the Square:
14th December 2024 at 6pm in the Square. All are welcome.

Pancake Race: The next annual race is due to take place in 2025

Duck Race: This will take place by the river in 2025

Carnival Week:
10-17th August throughout the town

D-Day 80 years Commemoration:
This took place throughout Yarmouth on 6/6/24, culminating in a march-through on the Green by Medina Marching Band and the lighting of the beacon.

Fireworks: The display on 5th November 2024 was very impressive and thanks go to Yarmouth Carnival Committee for organising this excellent event. It was well attended, partly thanks to Yarmouth Town Council’s initiatve in organising and funding a bus link from Freshwater to overcome accessibility problems created by the closure of Yarmouth Bridge.
